Simply put, I don't. My web and graphic design services are considered to be an extension of my ministry. I want to serve and be a blessing with the skills that God has given me.
However, I have noticed that my family enjoys eating three meals a day. They like to turn on the lights at night. The winter is much better when the house is warm... In other words, there's just some things in life that only money can buy.
To protect my family, time, and ministry, I carefully screen my clients. When projects are complete, I trust God to lead my clients to prayer and appropriate reimbursements for my time and efforts. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or check out the "Frequently Asked Questions" section.
There are times that it feels that way! 😄
While is it true that I do not charge for most of my work, I do encourage my clients to pray about reimbursement for my time and efforts. I trust that they will follow the Lord as He leads them. To assist in this, I submit to the client a record of my time spent on the project.
That largely depends on what you need done and if I am available to work. Also, please note that each of my clients must accept a Project Agreement which includes a short statement of doctrine.
Unlike my other services, I do charge for hosting and website maintenance. Software subscriptions and renting server space can quickly add up. My hosting fee helps cover the costs of everything involved.
Please understand that my design work is subject to my ministry schedule. Preparation, preaching, and other ministry activities receive priority over design projects. Provided that my schedule is open for work, a client must agree to the proposed time estimation, pay the security fee, and accept the Project Agreement for all to be cleared for production.
The Project Security Fee is $50. It ensures me that the client is serious about the work. Production can not begin until the security fee has been paid.
The full Project Agreement can be previewed here.
